Whether by mistake or carelessness, or intentionally, sometimes we can get to delete text messages we receive in our Android Smartphone through our hotline, and after a while we can come to need that SMS that we deleted.

In both cases, there is an interesting solution that can help us recover deleted, and even receive SMS messages without using our Smartphone, through the transfer of messages to our mail Gmail account .
For this we use the free application called SMS Backup +, which among other things allows us to automatically transfer to our Gmail’s account of SMS and MMS received on your phone through our phone bill, and therefore can also keep safeguarding the text messages in our mailbox.
Here’s how to set up Gmail and SMS Backup + to achieve, and how to use the app.
Step 1: The first thing we will do will be to download and install our application Android Smartphone SMS Backup +, you can find free at this link [google play ]
Step 2: Then we set up our mail account, since for our smartphone Android can communicate with Gmail and transfer the SMS and MMS we receive, we must enable this option in the mailbox, for which start session in Gmail on the web browser we use in our PC.
Step 3: Once we are in the Gmail page click on the gear icon located in the upper right corner, and in the menu displayed click on “Settings”.
Step 4: We move now to the tab “Forwarding and POP / IMAP”, and paragraph “IMAP Access” must click on the option “Enable IMAP” so that the box remains checked. After that we press the button “Save Changes” to confirm the changes.
Step 5: Then turn to take our Android Smartphone and run it the app SMS Backup +.Automatically the app detects Gmail account associated, so now you have to press the button “Connect”, and in the next window click on the button to grant access.
Step 6: Now we just subtract configure different application options, such as to perform automatic backups, save the call history on our Google calendar, receive notifications and others.
